Al-Burhan: There is no place for rebels or their supporters in the future of Sudan… and we welcome national peace

In statements reported by Al-Jazeera, Al-Burhan said: "We do not want any mercenary or any party that supported the militia to have any role in the future of Sudan," referring to the rejection of any political settlements that include parties that participated in fighting against the army.
Despite the firm tone, Al-Burhan expressed openness to peaceful solutions, confirming that Sudan "welcomes peace based on solid national foundations," indicating the government's readiness to negotiate under conditions that preserve the unity and sovereignty of the country.
These statements come amid ongoing military operations in several areas, alongside increasing international calls for a ceasefire and the resumption of political dialogue.
