Two ships carrying 31,000 tons of wheat arrive at the port of Tartus to enhance the strategic stock

- The first ship carries 21,300 tons of wheat and unloads directly into the port silos
- The second ship carries 10,270 tons and unloads via railway lines, allowing the wheat to be delivered directly to the grain silos in the governorates
This shipment is part of a continuous series of supplies to the port of Tartus, as part of the government's efforts to secure essential materials for citizens, especially in light of the decline in local wheat production this season due to drought and rising agricultural costs.
This step is part of a comprehensive national plan to secure the local market's needs for bread, through international contracts and updating transportation and distribution mechanisms, ensuring the stability of food supplies amid the current economic conditions.
