Tehran Responds to Trump: We Did Not Request Resumption of Nuclear Talks

The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismaeil Baghaei, said that Tehran did not request any meetings with US officials to resume nuclear talks.
Steve Whitecuff, the US President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, mentioned that he will meet with Iranian diplomats "next week or so".
President Donald Trump confirmed in a press statement his intention to hold direct joint meetings with Iranian officials.
Trump told reporters: "We have scheduled talks with Iran, and they want that... They want to talk".
