The final committee for drafting the Civil Service Law draft in Syria held its second session today, Wednesday, at the Ministry of Administrative Development, chaired by the Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Hassan Al-Skaf, and with the participation of a number of specialized experts, representatives of public entities, and the Labor Unions Federation.
The committee discussed during the session the basic concepts of the new law, which will contribute to building a modern and flexible civil service system, keeping pace with the requirements of the comprehensive institutional transformation project, and enhancing the effectiveness of the government apparatus in the coming phase.
The committee also continued its work within a specific timeframe, aiming to prepare a comprehensive final legal formulation that achieves a balance between the rights and duties of the workers, serving the public interest, and establishing a modern and advanced concept of public service that aligns with the aspirations of the new Syria.
