Syrian-Turkish Meeting on the Sidelines of the Labor Ministers Conference in Doha

Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabawat, held a meeting on Thursday with Turkish Minister of Labor, Vedat Alshkhan, during which they discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two countries in the fields of labor and employment, in addition to the issue of the return of Syrian refugees.  

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the sixth Islamic Conference of Labor Ministers held in the Qatari capital, Doha, where both sides agreed to continue coordination through subsequent meetings, paving the way for establishing an official framework for cooperation through joint memoranda of understanding.  

The conference witnessed the participation of delegations from various member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and over two days, it discussed national experiences in the field of labor and social development under the slogan: "Local Experiences, Global Achievements, Success Stories in the Islamic World".
