The spokesperson for the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Nour al-Din al-Baba, announced on Thursday that after completing the investigations and informing the relevant authorities of all the details of the case of the detention of human rights activist Amer Matar, it was found that the nature of the documents in his possession did not require continued detention.
He explained that the public prosecution reviewed the results of the investigations, and based on the principle of the rule of law, it was decided to release him today on bail after the completion of the detention requirements.
