The Syrian Defense Minister discusses joint cooperation files with the Russian military attaché

The Syrian Defense Minister, Major General Marhaf Abu Qasra, received today, Thursday, in his office in the capital Damascus, the defense attaché at the Russian embassy, Colonel Andrei Badrodinov, where a number of files of mutual interest between Syria and Russia in the military and security fields were discussed.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance defense coordination between the two countries and to develop mechanisms for cooperation in training, information exchange, and combating cross-border threats, in line with previously signed bilateral agreements.

Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining direct communication between military leaders, ensuring regional stability and enhancing the Syrian armed forces' ability to face current security challenges.
