The military spokesperson for the Ansar Allah group in Yemen announced on Thursday evening the execution of airstrikes targeting Israeli military sites in various areas in southern occupied Palestine, as part of what he described as "support for the oppressed Palestinian people."
According to statements, the attacks included:
- Bombing a military target in the Yafa area with a hypersonic ballistic missile
- Targeting sites in Umm al-Rashrash and Beersheba using three drones
The military spokesperson added that "the Israeli enemy threatens the region, countries, and peoples," affirming that the group "is committed to supporting the Palestinian cause until the aggression on Gaza stops."
These statements come amid rising regional tensions, coinciding with ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, alongside international calls for a ceasefire and to avoid the expansion of the confrontation.
