Syria Confirms Its Arab Presence at the ALECSO Meetings in Tunisia

During the meeting, the Syrian Minister of Education, Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turk, emphasized that activating Syria's presence in the organization is a fundamental milestone in the process of restoring its natural and effective role within the Arab system.
The minister also pointed out that Syria's participation stems from a firm conviction that cultural and educational cooperation is the most worthy path to enhance the collective Arab identity and to establish the civilizational presence of the nation in the face of global challenges.
This participation comes within the framework of a government trend towards openness to Arab and international institutions and expanding the circle of cooperation in the fields of education and culture, contributing to building a renewed knowledge system that responds to the needs of the Syrian and Arab society.
