Seizure of Weapons and Missiles of Hezbollah in Rural Damascus

Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Dalati, the head of internal security in the Rural Damascus Governorate, announced the thwarting of a network affiliated with "Hezbollah" in the town of Saasaa and Kanaker in the western Rural Damascus.
The operation resulted in the seizure of heavy and advanced weapons, including 19 Grad missiles, anti-tank missiles, and missile launch pads, in addition to various ammunition and individual weapons.
According to a statement issued by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, preliminary investigations revealed that the members of the cell received advanced training in Hezbollah camps in Lebanon and were planning to carry out operations inside Syrian territory.
Security sources reported that the Syrian authorities continue to investigate the detainees to uncover the full details of their connections and objectives, while the file has been referred to the relevant legal authorities to take necessary actions.
