The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Initiative rejects Trump's decision to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court.

Barghouti said, "Trump imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court, which issued an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Ehud Barak for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza."
He added that "Trump's decision to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court represents a violation of international law and a consolidation of jungle law that places Israel and its leaders above all international laws and norms," noting that the decision "legitimizes Israel to commit war crimes without accountability."
He emphasized that this decision will not save the war criminals from international isolation and inevitable accountability, and what is ironic is "accusing the politically and morally corrupt Netanyahu, accused of war crimes, of corruption by the International Criminal Court."
On Thursday evening, Trump signed an executive order imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court, claiming in a statement that it "targets the United States and its close allies such as Israel in a baseless and illegitimate manner."
