Iran's Position on the Ongoing War
This statement comes amid Iran's continued retaliatory attacks in response to American and Israeli strikes, as the war enters its second week.
The Iranian president stressed that Iran will not surrender to Israel or the United States, stating: "The enemies will take their dream of the Iranian people's surrender with them to the grave."
Iranian Readiness for Defense
Bezhakian clarified that his country has prepared itself to face the war and defend its sovereignty and dignity, expressing gratitude to the Iranian people.
He added: "The Iranian people know that we are at their service and working for them until the last breath and the last drop of our blood, and that the government, the people, and the armed forces in Iran stand side by side, and we will all defend our waters, land, and homeland with all our strength."
Context of the Statements
Bezhakian's statements come amid ongoing tensions in the region, where the UAE and other countries are dealing with Iranian missile and drone threats, within the framework of the ongoing escalation between Iran on one side, and the United States and Israel on the other.
