SDF Transfers Heavy Equipment and Machinery from the Sugar Factory North of Deir ez-Zor to Hasakah

Local sources reported on Thursday that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have transferred heavy equipment and machinery from the sugar factory in the industrial area north of Deir ez-Zor towards the city of Hasakah in recent hours.

According to local sources, the transfer included main production machinery from the factory, amid questions about the background of this step and its implications for the reality of services and the local economy in the region.

These developments come at a time when SDF-controlled areas in Deir ez-Zor are witnessing rapid military and administrative movements, alongside security reinforcements and a wide deployment around the factories and oil fields.
