Saudi Arabia expressed deep concern on Sunday, June 22, about the recent developments in Iran in response to the United States targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, affirming its "condemnation and denunciation of the violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran".

This came in a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official account on the "X" platform, where it noted that it is "closely monitoring the developments in the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, represented in the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States of America".

The statement reaffirmed the Kingdom's consistent position expressed in a previous statement issued on June 13, 2025, calling for "exerting all efforts to exercise restraint, calmness, and avoid escalation".

Saudi Arabia also urged the international community to "double efforts in these highly sensitive circumstances to reach a political solution that guarantees ending the crisis, leading to opening a new page to achieve security and stability in the region".
