Amid commitments to organize a safer Hajj, Saudi Arabia repatriates over 75,000 violators of Hajj regulations.

Approximately two million pilgrims have arrived in Mecca before the start of this year's Hajj season, amidst high temperatures and a wide campaign against irregular pilgrims.
According to the Saudi meteorological department, temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius this week.
The Saudi General Security Director, Major General Mohammed Al-Bassami, stated during a joint press conference held by security authorities in Mecca, that 269,678 residents without proper entry permits to Mecca have been deported, along with 75,943 other violators of Hajj regulations and instructions. Additionally, 252 fake Hajj campaigns, 1,239 unauthorized transporters, and 109,632 violator vehicles have been seized, without specifying the destination they were returned to.
Saudi authorities have mobilized over 40 government agencies and 250,000 employees, and have raised their readiness level to confront the risks of extreme heat this year, following a deadly heatwave in 2024 that claimed the lives of hundreds of pilgrims.
