The pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah began heading to Muzdalifah after sunset on Thursday, the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah, following their standing on the plains of Arafat and completing the rites of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the guests of the Most Merciful will spend the night in Muzdalifah, then they will head to Mina after the Fajr prayer tomorrow to stone the Jamrat al-Aqabah and perform the sacrifice.

The journey from Arafat to Muzdalifah is the third stage of the pilgrimage journey in the holy sites for the pilgrims to perform their rituals.

The movement of the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah has been characterized by smoothness amidst efforts made by various authorities involved in Hajj affairs, serving the guests of the Most Merciful to perform their rituals safely and securely.

The General Authority for Statistics in Saudi Arabia announced that the total number of pilgrims this year 1446 AH reached 1,673,230 pilgrims, including 1,506,576 pilgrims who came from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through various entry points, while the number of domestic pilgrims reached 166,654 pilgrims, including Saudi citizens and residents in the Kingdom.
