In order to support the labor sector... Talks between Syria and Qatar.

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of Syria, Hind Kabawat, met today, Thursday, with the Qatari Assistant Minister of Labor, Najwa bint Abdul Rahman Al Thani, to enhance cooperation in various areas related to supporting the labor sector and amending legislation. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, where the Minister emphasized the importance of Qatar's continued support to Syria, especially in amending labor laws, enhancing security, and capacity building. In turn, the Qatari Assistant Minister of Labor expressed Qatar's readiness to support the labor sector through memorandums of understanding and the formation of a joint technical committee to enhance cooperation.
