The General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia announced today, Friday, its full readiness to receive pilgrims through all international air, land, and sea ports, in preparation for this year's Hajj season.
Technical and Human Preparations
The Passports Directorate confirmed that it has provided the latest technical devices to expedite entry procedures, along with trained multilingual personnel to offer services to pilgrims and facilitate their passage.
Electronic Facilities
It also indicated the availability of electronic permits for residents wishing to enter Mecca, as part of a system aimed at organizing movement and facilitating procedures during the season.
Enhancing Reception Efficiency
These preparations come as part of extensive plans to enhance the efficiency of border ports and ensure smooth entry movement, in line with the large numbers of pilgrims expected.
