Saudi Ambassador in Damascus: There is a desire among Saudi investors to invest in the tourism sector in Syria.

Minister of Tourism, Mazen Al-Salehani, received today Tuesday, the Saudi Ambassador to Damascus, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqbel, at the Ministry's building to enhance cooperation and build bridges of communication between the two countries. According to the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Tourism, the meeting discussed the possibility of holding meetings to frame tourism cooperation and benefit from Saudi Arabia's experience in technology investments, visas, and electronic facilitations. The two sides also discussed the presented investment facilitations, especially in light of finalizing procedures with the issuance of the new investment law, and the possibility of holding meetings for ministry specialists, in coordination with the Saudi embassy, to exchange experiences among them. Ambassador Al-Miqbel expressed the desire of Saudi investors to invest in tourism in Syria, and his country's readiness to provide full support in all areas, especially in exchanging and enhancing investment projects to elevate the tourism sector.
