Russia controls Kupiansk and Ukraine accused of planting mines on civilian evacuation routes

Advisor to the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Igor Kimakovsky, reported to the "TASS" agency that Ukrainian forces are planting magnetic mines along evacuation routes for civilians from the city of Dmitrov, forcing civilians to constantly change their paths to avoid dangers.
In another field development, Russia announced yesterday, Tuesday, the control of the strategic city of Kupiansk in northeastern Ukraine, after Ukrainian forces had recently regained some of its neighborhoods.
The "TASS" agency confirmed, citing the spokesperson for the Russian military group "Zabad", that "the city of Kupiansk is under the control of the fifth Russian army."
Russia had previously announced, in November, the control of Kupiansk, but Ukraine had regained parts of it, according to the French press agency.
In the context of the ongoing war since February 24, 2022, the Ukrainian army announced today that the number of killed and wounded Russian soldiers has risen to about one million and 190 thousand and 620 individuals, including 1150 killed or wounded in the last twenty-four hours.
These developments highlight the escalation of military tension in the region and complicate civilian movement in conflict areas, as both sides continue to fight for control of strategic cities in northeastern Ukraine.
