Russia condemns Danish plan to host Ukrainian missile fuel production plant, describing it as 'hostile'

The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated in a press briefing that the project 'undermines efforts for a political and diplomatic solution to the crisis,' and reflects Denmark's desire to 'enrich itself through the continued bloodshed in Ukraine,' warning that the step 'forebodes further escalation.'
The new factory will be located near a Danish airbase that hosts the country's fleet of F-16 aircraft, raising Russian concerns that the site could become a direct support platform for Ukrainian operations against Russian forces.
Denmark has been one of Ukraine's most prominent supporters since the war began in February 2022, having provided military aid worth 67.6 billion Danish kroner (about 10.6 billion dollars), according to data from the Danish Foreign Ministry.
