For the first time, the Saudi capital Riyadh witnesses the launch of the Syrian Universities Forum, in a prominent academic event organized by the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research from September 21 to 22, 2025, held at the Holiday Inn in the Al-Izdihar neighborhood.

Objectives of the Forum:
- Enhance the regional presence of Syrian higher education in the Arabian Gulf.
- Introduce Syrian and Arab students residing in the Kingdom to study opportunities at Syrian universities, both public and private.
- Showcase available academic programs and scholarships at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
- Open direct communication channels between university representatives and students to facilitate registration and admission procedures.

Significance of the Event:
The forum is considered an important milestone in Syria's academic openness policy and reflects a genuine desire to rebuild bridges of scientific and cultural cooperation with sister countries, especially in light of the circumstances that have pushed thousands of Syrian students to pursue their education abroad.
