The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday evening that the Israeli Prime Minister offered an official apology for the attack on Qatari territory during a phone call made by U.S. President Donald Trump with the participation of the Qatari Prime Minister and his Israeli counterpart.
The Ministry confirmed that the apology included an acknowledgment of "violating Qatari sovereignty" and a commitment not to repeat any targeting of Qatari territory in the future, in a move considered a diplomatic de-escalation after rising tensions.
