Prince Faisal bin Farhan urges the international community to support the two-state solution

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, called on the international community to take responsibility for achieving the two-state solution for the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia has laid out a clear executive path aimed at that, stressing that the time has come to find a just and comprehensive solution.
The minister's statements came during the Kingdom's speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, where Saudi Arabia reviewed its positions regarding regional and international developments, and welcomed the international recognition of the State of Palestine, which has surpassed 150 countries.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan praised the adoption of the New York Declaration by the General Assembly, affirming that it represents a practical alternative to slipping into violence and recurring wars, and emphasizes that Gaza and the West Bank are one Palestinian land, rejecting any attempts at displacement or imposing new realities by Israel, and charting an irreversible path to build a better future for the Palestinians and the peoples of the region.
On another note, the minister described what is happening in Gaza as an official famine, pointing out that Israel is systematically targeting civilians, while medical sources reported the killing of 67 Palestinians since dawn on Saturday in Israeli attacks on the sector, amid widespread deployment of Israeli vehicles and tanks in various areas of Gaza City.
Saudi Arabia also condemned in its speech Iran's aggression against Qatar, as well as the Israeli assault on Doha earlier this month that resulted in about six deaths, affirming that the occupying authorities are committing brutal acts against civilians in Palestine.
