The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of an advanced surgical robot during the Hajj season of 2025, to be one of the latest medical technologies used in performing precise and complex operations in various fields including chest surgery, urology, uterine tumors, as well as intestinal and rectal surgery. This robot is distinguished by its high precision, reducing the need for direct human surgical intervention, thereby reducing medical errors and assisting in performing operations efficiently. The robot is operated by qualified and specialized Saudi surgeons, reflecting the advancement of Saudi medical personnel and the enhancement of healthcare services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season. This technology contributes to reducing recovery time after surgical operations, as well as enhancing patient safety, making healthcare more secure and effective. This device enables accurate and rapid diagnosis of a wide range of medical conditions, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare and providing advanced services to pilgrims and visitors.
