During an extensive meeting, the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.

During his official visit to Kuwait, President Mr. Ahmed Al-Shar'a and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mr. Asaad Al-Shaibani held an extensive meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait Sheikh Fahd Yousuf Saud Al-Sabah and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.

The meeting took place at President Shar'a's residence in Bayan Palace, where the two parties discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation and coordination between Syria and Kuwait.
