Launch of the "Deir Al-Az" Campaign in Deir Ezzor: The Beginning of a New Phase of Community Cohesion and National Development

The "Deir Al-Az" campaign activities launched this Thursday evening at the Deir Ezzor city stadium, with a wide official and popular attendance, including ministers, governors, and social and civil figures, in a step aimed at reviving the province that has suffered the most destruction during the years of war.

In his speech during the opening, Deir Ezzor Governor Ghassan Al-Sayed Ahmed welcomed the guests, emphasizing that the campaign is not just a material initiative, but represents the beginning of a new phase of community cohesion, and an expression of the loyalty of the province's residents to their homeland, and their efforts to rebuild their city with their own hands.

For his part, Minister of Information Hamza Al-Mustafa stressed that Deir Ezzor will not be forgotten, describing it as a fundamental pillar of Syrian nationalism, and confirming that the Syrian island will not remain marginalized, but will be the foundation upon which Syria will unite again.

The campaign includes extensive service and development projects, the most notable of which are:
- Rehabilitation of more than 100 homes for affected families
- Restoration of five schools and a number of mosques
- Purchase of an MRI machine for the national hospital
- Supporting municipalities with heavy machinery to remove debris and open roads
- Establishing new bakeries to ensure food security
- Installing a monitoring system to enhance local security
