Israeli Airstrike by Drone Targets Car in Southern Lebanon, Resulting in One Death and Several Injuries

Lebanese authorities announced on Sunday that one person was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car between the towns of Tulin and Qalaouiyeh in southern Lebanon.
The Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center reported that the airstrike, carried out by a drone, resulted in the death of a person from the town of Majdel Selm named Mohammad Y. The National News Agency clarified that another car carrying several children was damaged due to the airstrike, leading to additional injuries.
The agency also reported that an Israeli drone dropped metal spikes on the streets of the town of Ramieh, while a patrol from the Lebanese army removed them. In the border town of Hula, an Israeli drone was found that had fallen there, while another plane dropped a sound bomb on the town of Al-Dahira simultaneously with gunfire in its vicinity.
This escalation comes at a time when repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire declared between the two sides since November 27, 2024, have been recorded, with over 3000 violations according to Lebanese authorities.
