The Israeli occupation army announced today, Friday, that it has carried out a series of special operations inside Syrian territory over the past weeks and months, resulting in the arrest of individuals allegedly belonging to the Iranian Quds Force, in a new development that reflects the escalation of security confrontations between Tel Aviv and Tehran on the Syrian front.
According to the army's statement, the arrested individuals have been transferred to Israel for interrogation, indicating that they were receiving guidance from Unit 840 of the Quds Force, which is specialized in carrying out operations against Israeli targets, according to the Israeli military narrative.
These allegations come amid Israel's continued airstrikes and intelligence operations inside Syria.
