The authorities in Iraq announced on Wednesday the downing of four drones in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport without any recorded human injuries or material damage.
The head of the Security Media Cell, Saad Ma'an, stated that the relevant security agencies dealt with the drones immediately upon detection, and necessary measures were taken to handle them and ensure the safety of the airport and surrounding areas.
In this context, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani condemned the war targeting Iran, calling for a return to peaceful dialogue and avoiding further escalation in the region.
