An Iranian military source reported that Iranian forces have launched hundreds of missiles and drones since the outbreak of the recent war in the region.

On Thursday, the Fars news agency quoted the source as saying that Iran has used more than 500 ballistic and cruise missiles since the beginning of military operations.

The source added that Iranian forces have also launched over 2000 drones of various types during the same period, as part of attacks targeting sites linked to the United States and Israel in the region.

These statements come amid escalating military confrontation and the widening scope of reciprocal strikes between the warring parties since late February.
