Human Rights Watch warns of the worsening humanitarian situation in Syrian refugee camps.

This was mentioned in a report released by the organization, which confirmed that the suspension of U.S. government aid to non-governmental organizations operating in these camps has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, further destabilizing the security situation in the region.
The report also emphasized that clashes between the National Army and the Syrian Democratic Forces since the fall of the previous regime have left the camps vulnerable to further humanitarian deterioration.
Human Rights Watch also warned that the absence of concrete solutions to repatriate foreign detainees in the camps, who have been held illegally for over six years, will fuel instability in the region.
All governments were urged to act swiftly to repatriate their stranded citizens, ensuring legal procedures for those accused of affiliation with ISIS, and halting arbitrary detention of those not charged with any crimes.
