The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has announced the necessity for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in 2025 to obtain a Hajj permit through the "Nasik" platform, which allows obtaining permits electronically, integrated with the unified digital platform. The ministry emphasized that visas of all types do not grant the holder the right to perform Hajj unless they have obtained the designated Hajj permit, warning against violating the regulations and instructions related to Hajj. The ministry also warned against fraudulent activities promoted through fake Hajj campaign advertisements, which include promises of providing accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. It was stressed the importance of reporting any violations through the designated numbers in the Kingdom (911) for the regions of Mecca, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in other regions. Additionally, the ministry called on authorities in all countries to report any misleading advertisements that may spread. In another context, the ministry confirmed that the latest date for pilgrims holding Umrah visas to depart will be on April 29, 2025, which corresponds to the first day of the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1446 AH, in preparation for the Hajj season.
