The Internal Security Forces in Homs Governorate issued a warning statement to citizens today, Tuesday, confirming that there are currently no mobile checkpoints spread in the city or its countryside, noting that all existing checkpoints are fixed security points that have been established since the early months of liberation.
The warning came after reports of attempts to impersonate security personnel by unknown individuals, aiming to set up unofficial mobile checkpoints, which poses a direct threat to the safety and security of citizens.
The leadership confirmed that this measure is part of enhancing stability and mutual cooperation between security agencies and the residents of the governorate, urging citizens not to stop or engage with any unknown checkpoint, and to report immediately via operation numbers or the nearest security point.
