A New Achievement for Syria in the Arab Table Tennis Championship: Three Medals in Doubles Competitions

The Syrian table tennis team continued its brilliance in the Arab championship held in Casablanca, Morocco, achieving three new medals in the doubles competitions, including one gold and two silver, raising the Syrian delegation's total to eight diverse medals since the championship began.

Fourteen Arab teams are participating in the championship, amidst strong competition in various age categories, where the Syrian team has proven its remarkable presence in team and doubles competitions, especially through players like Hend Zaza and Julie Diop, who won the gold medal in the female category under 17 years after defeating the Moroccan team with three clean sets.

This achievement reflects the development of the game in Syria and the efforts of the sports federation in supporting emerging categories, confirming that Syrian table tennis is steadily moving towards regional and international competition.
