Hints of a Possible Visit by Trump to the Region.. Israeli Preparations and Egyptian Hosting

In the context of the rapid developments surrounding the ongoing negotiations in Sharm El Sheikh, media reports revealed initial preparations being made by Israel to welcome a potential visit from U.S. President Donald Trump, should the current efforts culminate in the signing of a "Gaza Agreement" that includes ending the war and releasing hostages.
According to what the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported, these preparations coincide with hints from the Egyptian side welcoming Trump's visit. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi invited the former American president on Wednesday to attend the signing ceremony in Egypt if an agreement is reached.
The newspaper clarified in its report: "It is estimated that Trump wishes to come to the region to celebrate the significant achievement of ending the war and releasing the hostages."
It added: "So far, it depends on the results of the talks in Sharm El Sheikh, but the indicators are positive."
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time the idea of Trump's visit has been raised, as the previous White House had made similar preparations last month for a potential visit coinciding with Trump's tour in Britain, but the visit was canceled after the negotiations failed at that time.
For his part, President Sisi confirmed in his statements his country's keenness to achieve positive progress. He sent a message to Trump saying: "I sent a message to President Trump to continue his support for reaching an agreement on Gaza, emphasizing Egypt's commitment to positively engage with the Palestinian issue."
He added: "What I have received about the meetings in Sharm El Sheikh is encouraging news, and we hope to seize the opportunity and ensure that the war ends in the current round of negotiations."
While awaiting the results of the Sharm El Sheikh negotiations, all eyes remain focused on the Egyptian capital, where the parties hope to achieve a breakthrough that opens the door not only to ending the war but also to a high-level visit that could add a symbolic dimension to any potential agreement.
