High-Level Ukrainian Visit to Qatar to Enhance Defense Cooperation

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, announced an official visit to the State of Qatar, accompanied by the Chairman of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, where they met with the Qatari Minister of Defense to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

In a statement published by Yermak today, Tuesday, on the "X" platform, he explained that the meeting addressed the common interests between the two countries in the fields of security and defense, in addition to discussing the prospects for developing the strategic partnership between Kyiv and Doha.

This visit comes as part of Ukraine's efforts to expand its international relations in military and security fields, amid rapid regional and international developments.
