Hezbollah Announces Support for Hamas's Position on Trump's Plan to End the War on Gaza

Hezbollah announced today, Sunday, its support and endorsement of the position taken by Hamas regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

The party stated in a statement that "Hamas's position, as much as it stems from a concern for stopping the Israeli aggression, also affirms the commitment to the constants of the Palestinian cause and the non-abandonment of the rights of the Palestinian people."

The statement emphasized that "the Palestinian national consensus based on legitimate national rights is the framework upon which any negotiations leading to the withdrawal of the occupation from the entire Gaza Strip must be built, preventing the displacement of its residents, and enabling Palestinians to manage their own affairs and rejecting any external guardianship."

Hezbollah concluded its statement by calling on Arab and Islamic countries to support the Palestinian people and assist the resistance forces in facing the aggression, and to work on the reconstruction of Gaza and the restoration of the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
