The head of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, Ashhad Al-Salibi, said today, Friday, that we changed the name of the aviation institution to the Civil Aviation Authority and it is now directly affiliated with the presidency.

Al-Salibi told the Syrian channel "Al-Ikhbariya": "We have a plan to build a new airport in Aleppo and Damascus, and another in the central region."

Al-Salibi confirmed that Syrian Air has leased a fast blue aircraft to expand the fleet and we are working on leasing more.
