Emirates Airlines announces the schedule for resuming its flights to Syria.

Emirates Airlines announced today, Monday, June 2, the resumption of its regular flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, starting from July 16, in a move to enhance the resumption of air connectivity with Syria after years of suspension due to war and international sanctions.
According to a statement reported by Reuters, the company will initially operate 3 flights per week, increasing to 4 flights per week starting from August 2, with an additional flight every Saturday. It also mentioned a plan to enhance the service to daily flights starting from October 26.
This announcement coincides with the readiness of the Saudi airlines "Flynas" and "Air Arabia" to resume their regular flights to Syria, in a first of its kind move in over 10 years, indicating a shift in the regional aviation scene towards reintegrating Syria into international transport networks.
