Two United Nations agencies mentioned in a joint statement today, Tuesday, that five people were killed and others injured in an attack on a convoy belonging to the organization that was on its way to deliver food to families and children in the Sudanese city of El Fasher, which is suffering from famine. The statement issued by UNICEF and the World Food Programme did not accuse any party of responsibility for the attack, calling for an urgent investigation into the incident.
