A delegation from the Italian International Cooperation Organization visited on Tuesday, accompanied by officials from the Hama Education Directorate and the Al-Suqaylabiyah region, the town of Qalaat al-Madiq in western Hama countryside, to inspect its schools and assess their needs for renovation and restoration to put them back into service. The delegation assessed the situation of these schools, evaluating their maintenance and renovation needs, in preparation for launching rehabilitation projects aimed at equipping them optimally to receive students at the beginning of the upcoming academic year. According to SANA, the Director of Hama Education, Ahmed al-Madloosh, mentioned that the tour included multiple meetings to address the key challenges facing the educational sector in the region, emphasizing the urgent need to improve infrastructure and ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment. He also highlighted the efforts made by the directorate to attract international organizations to work on rehabilitating and renovating schools in various areas of the province.
