During the meeting in New York.. Germany reaffirms its continued support for achieving peace and stability in Syria

As part of the events of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the political atmosphere witnessed a meeting between the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, and his German counterpart, Johan Wadeful.
Germany reiterated through its official spokesperson its commitment to continue supporting Syria in order to achieve peace and stability throughout the country.
In this context, the spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry for Middle Eastern affairs, Annika Klaasen Idris, published details of the discussions that took place between the two ministers on her account on the platform "X", indicating that the meeting addressed the discussion of "the importance of national consensus and comprehensive transition".
Idris added in her post, "pointing out that there is an opportunity to achieve peace and reconstruction in Syria," and "confirmed that her country is ready to continue supporting Syria in order to achieve these goals".
This meeting comes as part of ongoing diplomatic communication to discuss ways to achieve stability in Syria and launch the reconstruction process.
