Doha demands Hamas respond to the American proposal.. and Naeem: "Initial ideas aimed at rejection"

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani called on Hamas leaders during talks in Doha on Monday to "respond to the latest American proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages," according to an informed source.
This call came after the movement announced on Sunday that it had received "some ideas from the American side to reach an agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza," confirming that it is "discussing with mediators ways to develop these ideas."
On the other hand, Hamas leader Bassem Naeem questioned the seriousness of the American initiative, describing it as "initial ideas and not an offer." Naeem confirmed that the goal of the American offer is "to reject the offer" and not to achieve a real agreement that guarantees a cessation of war, complete Israeli withdrawal, and prisoner exchange.
Naeem added, saying: "The ideas talk about disarming Hamas without discussing reconstruction," pointing out that "the movement and Palestinian factions are concerned with reaching an agreement that ends the war and opens up a horizon for a political solution that achieves our legitimate goals."
Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning to Hamas on Sunday, warning of "severe consequences" if the deal is rejected, emphasizing that the initiative represents "the last opportunity" to reach an agreement that stops the war.
Media outlets revealed the terms of the American initiative, which include the release of "all hostages, alive and dead, within 48 hours of signing," and the release of Palestinian prisoners, including those sentenced to life and detainees from Gaza.
The initiative also stipulates an immediate ceasefire for 60 days, with "a personal guarantee from U.S. President Donald Trump that the parties will negotiate in good faith," along with discussions on disarmament issues, forming a new government, Israeli troop withdrawal, and ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Hamas had previously announced its conditional acceptance of the previous American proposal, while the difficult field data continues as 47 remain detained in Gaza according to the Israeli army, while the latest figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza indicate that military operations have resulted in the deaths of at least 64,455 people, most of whom are civilians.
