The death of the child Karam Ghraibeh, son of Palestinian-Jordanian artist Anahid Fayyad and her husband, former Jordanian minister Muthana Ghraibeh, at the age of 14, has caused a huge shock on social media and in the artistic community.
In a humanitarian gesture, Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II offered his condolences to the parents in the capital, Amman, expressing his deep sorrow for this painful loss, according to local media.
The family announced the news of Karam's death in an official statement and set the time for the funeral prayer after Saturday prayers at the Huwara cemetery in Irbid Governorate.

* Shocking Details About the Cause of Death
A statement issued by the Jordanian Civil Defense indicated that the young man's death resulted from falling from the Abdoun Bridge in Amman, leading some to speculate it was suicide.
In later details, Syrian actor Adnan Abu al-Shamat revealed in a Facebook post, which he later deleted, that the incident was due to Karam being bullied, stating:
"The handsome, academically successful teenager, his parents' only child, jumped from a suspended bridge in Amman after suffering psychological distress caused by bullying."
Abu al-Shamat pointed to the dangers of bullying, describing the bully as a "potential criminal" who may resort to harming others physically or emotionally, emphasizing that victims, especially those weak in spirit and support, are at risk of collapsing under the weight of repeated abuse.
He also spoke about what he called "thuggery," a collective form of bullying supported by influence, which practices psychological and physical terror on those who are different.
The Syrian actor concluded his post by praying for the late Karam and comforting his family, calling on society to protect victims, especially girls who face forms of bullying and defamation that affect dignity and reputation.
