The Emirati authorities successfully extinguished a limited fire that broke out this Tuesday evening around the US consulate in Dubai, which resulted from a drone attack.

Despite the smoke rising from the area near the consulate, the Dubai Government Media Office confirmed that the fire did not result in any injuries.

In the details of the incident, eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion in the area, while some sources monitored the fire that broke out around the diplomatic building.

The Emirati police imposed a security cordon around the site to ensure everyone's safety.

Additionally, the relevant authorities confirmed that the sounds heard in various parts of Dubai were the result of successful air defenses intercepting drones that were targeting sensitive sites, including the US consulate.

* Limited Resumption of Flights

Regarding the impact on air traffic, Dubai airports reported a limited resumption of flights starting from the evening of Monday, March 2, at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central Airport (DWC).

They urged travelers to confirm their flight schedules with airlines, as potential changes in flight schedules may continue.

The relevant authorities in Dubai are closely monitoring the situation's developments, urging everyone to obtain information from official sources to ensure that rumors do not spread.
