Damascus seeks a strategic partnership with "Khatib & Alami" in urban planning and smart cities.

Governor of Damascus, Maher Marwan, met with a delegation from the international company "Khatib & Alami," led by Dr. Najib Al-Khatib, the company's CEO and chairman of its board, to discuss cooperation in several areas including urban planning, transportation, reconstruction, infrastructure, and smart cities.
During the meeting, Marwan emphasized the "need to expedite procedures, intensify direct communication, and workshops," in preparation for signing a comprehensive memorandum of understanding between the two sides in the near future.
On his part, Al-Khatib expressed the company's full readiness "to support the governorate's efforts, and provide advanced executive visions and plans that can make a tangible developmental impact."
This meeting is part of Damascus Governorate's vision to enhance partnership with the private sector and benefit from international expertise to achieve a qualitative leap in urban planning and enhance balanced urban development.
