In a new step towards blending technology with luxury art, the Russian company Caviar, specialized in manufacturing luxury phones, unveiled a special limited edition of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 phones, within a collection named "Cabubu".
The new edition comes with a unique design inspired by the famous "Labubu" doll, a collectible stuffed character designed by the Belgian artist based in Hong Kong, Kasing Lung, and sold exclusively through the Chinese retail store "Pop Mart".
Caviar named its version inspired by this doll "Cabubu", in an artistic touch that blends Eastern culture with luxurious Western design.
* Luxurious Design ... and a Space Scene from Mars and Venus
The Galaxy Z Fold7 Cabubu Edition phone features a facade bearing a figurine of Cabubu in front of a decorative background depicting the planet Mars, while the Galaxy Z Flip7 Cabubu Edition shows the Cabubu doll in front of a background inspired by the planet Venus, adding a surreal and cosmic touch to the phone's design.
Both phones are made of 24-carat gold, coated with fine jewelry enamel, giving them a luxurious appearance that makes them more like rare art pieces than electronic devices.
* Astronomical Prices and Limited Quantities
Because uniqueness comes at a high price, the price of the Galaxy Z Flip7 Cabubu Edition starts at $8,910, while the price of the Galaxy Z Fold7 Cabubu Edition reaches $10,340.
Caviar confirmed that only eight units of each edition will be produced, symbolically referring to the auspicious number 8 in Chinese culture, symbolizing luck and prosperity.
* Continuing the Luxury
This launch is part of a series of special editions that Caviar has been introducing, having previously launched luxurious iPhones inspired by Swiss watches, continuing its journey of redefining the concept of smartphones by integrating them with art and jewelry.
