Ben Gvir describes the activists of the Freedom Fleet as terrorists and affirms his pride in the detention policy

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stated that he takes pride in treating the activists of the Freedom Fleet heading to the Gaza Strip as supporters of terrorism, emphasizing that anyone considered a supporter of terrorism is treated under the special detention conditions for terrorists.
Ben Gvir added during his visit to Ketziot Prison that he appreciates the work of the prison service employees who implemented the policy adopted by his ministry and Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi, noting that "no humanitarian assistance has been provided to the activists on their ships."
For its part, the Israeli Foreign Ministry responded to these statements, describing the accusations against activist Greta Thunberg and some detainees as "blatant lies," affirming that all legal rights of the detainees are fully preserved, and that no official complaints have been filed regarding these allegations.
