The spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Interior, Karolina Galitskaya, announced the discovery of wreckage from 12 drones within Polish territory.
Galitskaya stated via the "X" platform: "According to police information as of 17:30 local time, 12 drones have been found".
Earlier today, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that his country's forces shot down "dangerous" drones, claiming they were Russian, without providing evidence.
For his part, the Russian chargé d'affaires in Warsaw, Andrey Ordash, confirmed that Poland had not provided any evidence to support these claims. The Russian Ministry of Defense also denied carrying out any strikes on Polish territory using drones, stating that its military operations are limited to targets within Ukraine.
In contrast, Reuters reported that the White House is closely monitoring the developments of the situation, while former U.S. President Donald Trump intends to hold talks with his Polish counterpart Karol Nauroki regarding the incident.
